An overall very young squad in Besiktas guided by James Blackmon Jr. upsets Fenerbahce Beko

After six wins in a row in all competitions the last three weeks, Fenerbahce Beko dropped a home game to Besiktas, 92-83, in BSL Regular Season Round 17 action early Sunday.

James Blackmon Jr. poured 32 points behind 7/11 three-pointers for the visitors upping their record to 8-9. Captain Melih Mahmutoglu recorded a team-high 19 points for Fener. The team coached by Igor Kokoskov fell to 13-4.

Anadolu Efes extended its undefeated record to 16-0 defeating Turk Telekom, 86-84, in a back-and-forth affair. Rodrigue Beaubois off the game-winning two-pointer in the final second registered a team-high 19 points. Vasilije Micic added 16 points. On the other end, Kyle Wiltjer and Nick Johnson had 23 and 20 points, respectively.

Other weekend action saw Berkan Durmaz post a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double for Tofas in the 88-75 away win against Buyukcekmece.
