A wide-margin domestic win further establishes Anadolu Efes as the hottest team in Europe

Anadolu Efes suffered its first BSL loss last week, but bounced back demolishing Zalgiris Kaunas on Friday and took down Gaziantep, 102-63, on Sunday.

Youngster Yigitcan Saybir posted a team-high 17 points to go along with eight rebounds and a couple of steals in the Regular Season Round 24 match. Vasilije Micic went for 13 points and Adrien Moerman for 12. Mouhammadou Jaiteh landed a game-high 21 points for the visitors.

The team coached by Ergin Ataman improved its league-leading record to 23-1 and forced Gaziantep down to 12-12.

Earlier, Turk Telekom stormed back from a 14-point deficit to defeat Galatasaray, 81-77. Top performer, Kyle Wiltjer logged 21 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Fenerbahce Beko was also victorious with 78-61 against Bahcesehir and improve to an 18-6 record. Nando De Colo led the way with 24 points while Kyle O’Quinn added 12 points and nine rebounds.
