Jarrell Eddie scored a season-high 29 points on 8-10 3-pointers in just 18 minutes as Fenerbahce Beko crushed rival Galatasaray 104 – 79 in the Istanbul derby of the Turkish Basketball Super League.
Fener, that welcome back head coach Igor Kokoskov (COVID-19), assumed control from the very beginning and basically established its dominance by halftime to go to the locker up 51 – 38. Galatasaray cut the deficit to single digits early in the third quarter but their hosts proceeded to once again increase their lead and turn the match to a blowout.
Amile Jefferson stood out from Galatasaray with 21 points and seven rebounds. Goksenin Koksal added 15 points.
For Fener, Kenan Sipahi dropped 16 points. Nando De Colo had 13 points and five rebounds while Tarik Biberovic scored 13.
