Chris Singleton and Melih Mahmutoglu got sanctioned for their altercation in Game 2 of the Turkish League Finals

The Supervisory Board of the Turkish Basketball Federation has announced its decisions regarding the events that took place in the second match of the ING Basketball Super League playoff final series played between Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Beko, with both sides getting punished.

Chris Singleton and Metih Mahmutoglu were fined around 1900 euros with Efes getting an additional fine of around 700 euros. Fenerbahce‘s staff got a warning.

The following fines were announced:

– Singleton got fined 50,000 liras (reduced to 20,000 liras due to additional articles)

– Mahmutoglu got fined 40,000 liras (reduced to 20,000 liras due to additional articles)

Efes got fined 15,000 liras due to Simon’s entry on the court (reduced to 7,500 due to it being the first instance and abruptly cut off)

– Fenerbahce: Cenk Renda (team manager), Radovan Trifunovic (assistant coach), İlker Belgutay (conditioning coach), Ahmet Kulduk (team doctor), Alex Perez, Yiğit Onan and Ahmet Düverioğlu got awarded a warning each after their ejections
