Anadolu Efes survived a tough battle against Bursaspor and grabbed an 83-79 victory on the road, without Ergin Ataman on the bench for most of the second half.

Things heated up in the third quarter when Dave Dudzinski appeared to have hit Elijah Bryant close to the eye as the first positioned himself to defend the Efes guard. Ataman got furious when Dudzinski wasn’t called with a foul and rushed to the refs, resulting in a double technical and his ejection from the game.

Vasilije Micic was there to save the day for Efes with 24 points and three assists, while Filip Petrusev added 16 points. Bryant followed with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Chris Singleton had 11 points. Efes has now extended its winning streak in the Turkish BSL to 8 games and leads the race with an 11-2 record.

Allerik Freeman paced Bursaspor with 17 points, Andrew Andrews tapped 14 and Kevarius Hayes added 11. The home team suffered its second consecutive defeat to fall to a 5-8 record.
