Efes returned to the Turkish League with a win following the triumph of Belgrade.

Three days after becoming back-to-back EuroLeague champions, Anadolu Efes beat Pinar Karsiyaka 81 – 65 in Game 3 of the Turkish BSL League quarterfinals to win the series 2-1 and advance to the next stage.

Final Four MVP for the second straight season Vasilije Micic produced 18 points and eight assists for Efes while Shane Larkin had 18 points plus five rebounds. Tibor Pleiss posted 13 points plus nine rebounds and Elijah Bryant finished with 13 points of his own.

Michael Roll scored 17, Amath M’Baye dropped 15 points, Bonzie Colson had 13 points and eight rebounds while Tony Taylor notched 12 points plus eight assists for Pinar Karsiyaka that kept it a close game for 30 minutes.

With the score 64 – 61 early in the fourth period, Efes made an 8-0 run to go up by double figures. When Karsiyaka cut the deficit to 72 – 65, the hosts answered with nine unanswered points to establish a more than safe margin down the stretch.
