The Basketball Champions League participant found the victory against Fenerbahce with Errick McCollum shining

After getting the win against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague opener, Fenerbahce suffered the first loss of its season in the Turkish Basket Super League against Pinar Karsiyaka. The team from Izmir survived the yellow-and-blue late comeback to win 84-79.

The red-and-green team was led by Errick McCollum, who almost ended the game with a double-double of 15 points and 9 assists, followed by Kenan Sipahi‘s all-around performance of 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Vitto Brown also added 11 points by grabbing 7 boards.

On Fenerbahce‘s side, Johnathan Motley was dominant on the glass with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists while shooting 10/13 from the field, but he wasn’t enough. Marko Guduric and Yam Madar added 15 points each, while the Israeli playmaker also had 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals.
