Greek center Giorgos Papagiannis forces overtime with a crazy buzzer-beater and Fenerbahce Beko claims a win after five extra minutes

Refusing to settle for a loss, Giorgos Papagiannis expanded his range beyond halfcourt and forced overtime at the buzzer in Ulker Sports Arena.

Fenerbahce Beko went on to prevail, 110-105, over Bahcesehir Koleji on Saturday.

Adding a second triple to open the extra period, the Greek center finished with 15 points in Round 18 of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season.

Melih Mahmutoglu drew up a team-high 21 points and Sehmus Hazer posted a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double. The team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius overcame Sertac Sanli fouling out with seven minutes left in regulation. For the visitors, Tyler Cavanaugh and Axel Bouteille shared a game-high 23 points.

Scottie Wilbekin and Nick Calathes were sidelined along with injured teammates Tarık Biberovic, Metecan Birsen, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Dyshawn Pierre, and Nate Sestina. Set for knee surgery, youngster Yigit Hamza Mestoglu was the most recent addition to the injury list. Recovering from long-term knee injuries, Raul Neto and Arturs Zagars are out as well.

Overtime action with Galatasaray at the happy end
