Fenerbahce BEKO beat Galatasaray by 24 points (94-70), in Round 30, the last for the Turkish BSL regular season.
It was the last game for the hosts before traveling to Abu Dhabi for the EuroLeague Final Four and the semifinal against Panathinaikos.
The game was decided in the second period with a 30-16 partial score, as Fener got a 21-point lead over the Basketball Champions League finalists (53-32) and never looked back after that.
Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius used all his players, with Tarik Biberovic scoring 16, Wade Baldwin adding 15, and Marko Guduric having 14 points.
Thanks to this result, the winning side completed the regular season with a 27-3 record, being first in the standings, followed by Besiktas (23-6).
Down to 14-15 on Saturday, Galata settled seventh in the final standings on Sunday, after Mersin Spor knocked out Darussafaka Lassa, 105-89, in Servet Tazegul Arena. The next challenge is to compete for a spot in the BSL Playoffs 2025 via the Play-Ins. Also, Dacka was relegated after 11 years in the top tier of Turkiye.
