Great second half for Jasikevicius’ team to easily beat Anadolu Efes in the domestic competition

Fenerbahçe had an easy job in the Turkish derby. The yellow team beat Anadolu Efes on the road (73-89) after a great second half.

Talen Horton-Tucker (17 p.) and Wade Baldwin (11 p.) were the top scorers for the winning team. Vincent Poirier (17 points and 12 rebounds) led Anadolu Efes despite the loss.

After a close first quarter, Fenerbahçe started shooting really well from beyond the arc. Anadolu Efes was protecting the basket, but Jasikevicius’ team picked up the pace before halftime (40-46).

The second half was dominated by yellow and black. With a 16-23 run, the Euroleague champions completely shut down Anadolu Efes‘ attack to secure the victory in the Istanbul derby (73-89) and further extend their lead in the domestic league.
