Bahcesehir opened its Turkish League campaign with an impressive 98-83 victory over Fenerbahce.
Malachi Flynn led the winners with 17 points, while Marquis Reed added 16. Trevion Williams delivered a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Tyler Cavanaugh finished with 10 points.
Talen Horton-Tucker scored 16 points for Fenerbahce. Shavon Shields added 13 points and seven rebounds, Braxton Key had 12 points, and Trent Forrest finished with 10.
The game also marked Aleksandar Djordjevic’s official debut after returning to European club basketball to take charge of Bahcesehir.
