Fenerbahce played with fire, but wasn’t burned. The team of coach Obradovic got the 73-69 win over Anadolu Efes, which trailed by 24 points at the start at the second half and remains on top of the Turkish BSL standings with a 21-6 record.

Fenerbahce remains second (20-6), but proved they have nothing to fear. Five players of the winners scored in double digits as Bobby Dixon and Pero Antic had 15 points, Bogdan Bogdanovic added 14, Kostas Sloukas has 12 and Ekpe Udoh almost a double double (11 p. 8 r.). With Sloukas having a stellar first half (10 p., 6 as.) Fenerbahce had a 44-23 advantage.

Dario Saric of Anadolu Efes flirted with the double double (19 p., 9 as.), Derrick Brown added 11 points and the duo of Cedi Osman Jayson Granger scored 10 points for the losing side. The team of coach Ivkovic made a great comeback, entered the last two minutes trailing just by 3 points (68-65), however Fenerbahce prevailed by making its free throws and all the right plays down the stretch. At least, Anadolu Efes had the tie breaking advantage, because of their first round win with 9 points.
