Darussafaka Dogus faced heavy opposition by Gaziantep on the road but ultimately managed to get the victory that improves its Turkish League record to 12 – 6.

Brad Wanamaker was the ultimate protagonist for the winners, not only for his double-double of 22 points and 11 assists (plus 6 rebounds) but also because he scored the basket to put his team ahead 85 – 87 with less than one minute left on the clock.

For Gaziantep that had previously tied it 85 – 85 thanks to a downtown hit by Andy Rautins (24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists) had a fair amount of opportunities to make things even. Yet Davon Jefferson (23 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists) and Will Cherry (9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists) failed to send the ball in. Coach Dedas’ team is now 8 – 10 and further from the playoffs zone.

Ante Zizic finished with 19 points and 6 rebounds for Darussafaka while James Anderson scored 13 and grabbed 8 rebounds. Dairis Bertans had 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
