Darussafaka Dogus needed every single piece of the 27 points season-high action of Scottie Wilbekin to beat Yesilgiresun 87 – 77 and climb to the fourth spot of the Turkish League standings with a 18 – 7 record.

Coach Trifunovic’s players were quite competitive, being down by only 2 points, 62 – 60 at the end of the third quarter. If not for Wilbekin’s scoring (7/12 from downtown), 5 assists and 5 rebounds, things might’ve been ugly for the hosts that were coming from a EuroLeague playoffs clinching victory vs Crvena Zvezda.

Dacka’s superiority had the final word despite the an epic performance by Malcolm Armstead (29 points, 6 assists) and the near double/double (20 points, 8 rebounds) of Anthony Gil. Yesilgiresun is now 10th in classification with 9 – 16.
