Darssufaka prevailed over Eskisehir after a comeback and the additional five minutes at home. The home squad was trailing 67-56 after the third quarter, but they were able to bounce back and win 90 – 83.
David Blatt’s team had more energy in the last quarter as they won that period 23-12 forcing an overtime.
In the extra period, they were the better team winning the game thanks to Micheal Eric who had a double-double performance of 14 points and 15 rebounds. He had help from his teammate Scottie Wilbekin who was one rebound away from a double-double as he finished the game with 15 points and 9 boards.
For the losing side, Earl Rowland’s 12 points and 10 rebounds weren’t enough.
On Tuesday night Errick McCollum was sizzling for Anadolu Efes as he scored no less than 41 points in the victory against Usak Sportif. As for the reigning champions, Fenerbache had an easy evening against Buyukcekmece.
