Ahmet Duverioglu posted a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds as Turkish League standings leader Fenerbahce downed Istanbul Buyuksehir 96 – 73 at home in their last game before the EuroLeague Final Four that is held next week (18-20 May).

Bobby Dixon added 16 points, Melih Mahmutoglu had 11 and Egehan Arna scored 10 for the reigning champion that controlled the game following a balanced game for the first 14 minutes.

The guests were up 31 – 32 in the mid of the second period but Fener had an 8 – 0 run to establish its hold. Zeljko Obradovic‘s players preserved a lead and even dominated after the break to complete the regular season with a 27 – 3 record.

Michael Thompson had 16 points plus seven assists while Aybek Olmaz scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds. This game held no interest for Buyuksehir since they were already out of playoff contention and well above the elimination zone. They finished the regular season with an 11 – 19 record.
