Pinar Karsiyaka has decided to not renew the contract of head coach Aleksandar Trifunovic for the next season, as Turkish news agency DHA reported and Eurohoops can confirm.
The 2015 Turkish League champions finished the regular season at the 10th spot in the standings and missed the playoffs for a second consecutive year, something that hadn’t happened since back in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.
In the Basketball Champions League, Pinar Karsiyaka reached the quarterfinals where they were eliminated by UCAM Murcia.
Trifunovic had signed a one-year contract at the beginning of 2017-2018.
