Kyle Weems helped Tofas stop Darussafaka’s comeback and grab a home win in Turkish League.

Tofas gambled away a double-digit lead but still managed to hold off Darussafaka for an 80-72 home win on Day 20 of Turkish League.

Kyle Weems led the winning side with 17 points while Yigit Arslan scored 13 and Frank Elegar 12 points. For Darussafaka, Markel Brown scored 17 in addition to Jeremy Evans’ 12 points.

Tofas improved to 13-5 standing at the third spot behind Fenerbahce and Efes which both hold a 15-3 record. Darussafaka is still trailing in the playoff race with 7-11 and two wins less then the eight-placed Galatasaray (9-8).
