Not the kind Zeljko Obradovic and Fenerbahce fans expected, but a win is a win, even the 90-73 one against Bahcesehir. Kostas Sloukas clutch buckets got him to 27 points and the home team in a commanding lead down the stretch. He finished with 9/14 from the field including four shots beyond the arc. Marko Guduric followed with 20 points of his own.

Erick Green and Luigi Datome were left out of the 12-man squad alongside Joffrey Lauvergne and Tyler Ennis, but the hosts were still strong favorites in the Super Ligi Regular Season Round 21 contest. They seemed to run away in the beginning of the first three periods, but Quino Colom and Bahcesehir provided all the answers needed to get right back in it.

A fourth-quarter 22-2 spurt fueled by Sloukas placed Fener in a winning sprint and ultimately led to the “W” by large margin. Colom ended up with 17 points and seven assists to his name, Hadi Ozdemir added 15 points for Stefanos Dedas’ side in the BSL game.
