Fenerbahce Beko forward/center Jan Vesely, forward Gigi Datome and guard Erick Green will most likely miss the upcoming Turkish BSL League semifinal series against Tofas Bursa that begin Saturday (1/6).
“It will be hard for Jan Vesely, Gigi Datome and Erick Green to be with us in this series,” Fenerbahce Team Manager Cenk Renda said. “They haven’t started working with the team yet but they really want to play. I want to underline this. But their health situation doesn’t allow it. The players’ health is the most important thing. We can’t hurry.”
Vesely has been struggling with problems on his knee while Datome has yet to recover from a calf injury that prevented him from playing in the Final Four. Green hurt his ankle in the third-place game vs. Real Madrid.
