Nicolo Melli set a new Turkish BSL League career-high 28 points to lead Fenerbahce to a blowout win over Tofas Bursa in Game 1 of the best-of-five semifinal series.
Led by Melli‘s 20 points in the first half, Fenerbahce took a 59 – 39 advantage at the break. The overwhelmed Tofas squad never recovered.
Ahmet Duverioglu contributed 15 points to Fener‘s win. Melih Mahmutoglu had 11 points and Marko Guduric 10 points and five assists for the defending BSL champs that were minus Jan Vesely, Gigi Datome and Erick Green.
Berkan Durmaz (16 points), Sammi Mejia (11 points) and Frank Elegar (10 points) scored in double figures for Tofas.
