A 7-0 run in the last lap of the game helped Fenerbahce Beko beat Anadolu Fes 82 – 73 in Game 4 of the Turkish BSL League Finals to tie the best-of-seven series 2-2.

With the score 72 – 72 following a 3-pointer by Efes‘ Vasilije Micic, Fener captain Melih Mahmutoglu banked a 3-pointer and then another basket to give his team a five-point lead. Micic then missed an easy layup attempt only for Nicolo Melli to make it 79 – 72 on the other end with 1:23 remaining.

This three-possession distance was enough for Fener in the time left to play.

Melli finished with a game-high 19 points plus six rebounds. Kostas Sloukas added 16 points and six assists, along with four boards. Ahmet Duverioglu posted a double-double of 12 points plus 11 rebounds and Mahmutoglu 12 points.

Micic notched 16 points (13 in the first half) and nine assists for Efes. Rodrigue Beaubois had 14 points plus six rebounds and Adrien Moerman 13 points and six rebounds as well.

Game 5 takes place at Efes Monday (17/6).
