Pinar Karsiyaka announced on Sunday that Dirk Bauermann is no longer the club’s head coach. The two sides mutually agreed to part ways, per the Turkish team’s press release.
The decision to let the 61-year-old German head coach go was already made. Karsiyaka has since reportedly agreed with its former boss, Ufuk Sarica.
Bauermann assumed head coaching responsibilities last February signing a contract until the end of the 2019-20 season. However, his tenure was cut short after finishing the 2018-19 BSL Regular Season in 11th place.
