Zach Auguste banked game-high 30 points while missing only two shots in Galatasaray’s win against Bahcesehir in the Turkish League

Zach Auguste found his groove and led Galatasaray Doga Sigorta to an 85-76 home win against Bahcesehir Koleji on Day 2 of the Turkish League.

The 26-year-old big man shot 11-13 from the field while banking all eight of his free throws for the game-high 30 points. He also grabbed five rebounds, dished an assist and drew seven fouls in the 25 minutes he spent on the floor for a total of 33 PIR.

Greg Whittington added 12 and Lazeric Jones ten points. For Bahcesehir, Dwight Hardy scored 23 points (4-6 triples) followed by Trae Golden with 19.

Galatasaray was ahead 25-21 after the first quarter and 48-39 at halftime. Bahcesehir started the second half with six straight points (48-45) but the hosts answered and increased the gap to 12 points (67-55) at the end of the third quarter.

Although Bahcesehir once again reached the three-point margin (73-70), they couldn’t go any further and Galatasaray came out victorious in the end.
