Afyon Belediyespor managed to recover from a furious first-half by Rodrigue Beaubois-led Anadolu Efes but the latter still came out victorious 88-84.

Beaubois put on a spectacular 20-point first quarter and proceeded to 28 at halftime on 11-11 shooting. He finished the game with 31 followed by Vasilije Micic with 22.

Tibor Pleiss logged 14 points and 12 boards while for Afyon, Peyton Aldridge scored 20 in addition to Corey Davis’ 17 and Gregor Hrovat’s 11 points. Hrovat was also the mastermind behind a… ‘peculiar’ two-pointer at the end of the third quarter.

Efes stayed at the top with 10-1 in front of Pinar Karsiyaka and Fenerbahce BEKO who hold 9-2 records. TOFAS and Teksut Bandirma follow with 8-3.
