Despite trailing for long stretches in the BSL Regular Season Round Round 15 affair, Fenerbahce Beko managed to take down Frutti Extra Bursaspor, 86-83.

Nando De Colo posted 13 out the hosts’ 17 points in the first quarter, went on for a game-high 29 points behind 8/11 from the field including 5/7 beyond the arc. Derrick Williams and Melih Mahmutoglu scored 17 points each. Leo Westermann ended up with 12 following his game-winning bucket with 16 seconds left.

Without James Nunnally, Jan Vesely, Kostas Sloukas, Luigi Datome, Ahmet Duverioglu and Joffrey Lauvergne, Fener improved to 12-3 in Super Ligi with a 12-2 run to close the tight game. The visitors dropped to 7-8.

Former Baylor standout Perry Jones led his team by punching in 25 points, but his turnover with 31 seconds to go allowed Zeljko Obradovic’s side to ultimately avoid the upset at the Ulker Sports Arena on Sunday. Gian Lopez followed with 24 points.
