The final stretch of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season will determine the playoff field with several teams carrying a significant advantage in the crowded race. FC Bayern Munich certainly looks the biggest winner of Regular Season Round 30 after strengthening its grip on an advancing spot by defeating Anadolu Efes but Fenerbahce Beko generates our MVP.

MVP

Jan Vesely

The 2019 EuroLeague MVP finished with 21 points, ten rebounds, and five assists in a dominating showing against Zalgiris Kaunas. The Turkish powerhouse getting the job done this week kept the team coached by Igor Kokoskov in charge of its own destiny. The Czech big delivered keeping the two-win cushion intact.

Best Five

1. Jordan Loyd: His 16 fourth-quarter points earned Crvena Zvezda mts an away win versus Panathinaikos OPAP.
2. Will Clyburn: Banking a game-high 23 points powered CSKA Moscow in Madrid.
3. Sasha Vezenkov: Olympiacos also prevailed on the road as the 25-year-old forward registered a career-high 31 points to go along with ten rebounds.
4. Jalen Reynolds: He posted a game-high 22 PIR in Bayern’s triumph.
5. Jan Vesely: Our MVP completes our tall lineup.

Coach of the week: Dusko Ivanovic

At least one top eight slot is wide open and remained that way as TD Systems Baskonia claimed the away win over Zenit Saint-Peterburg on Thursday. Dusko Ivanovic has installed confidence in his players masterfully displayed in Russia with the huge fourth-quarter comeback. A slightly favorable schedule ahead may propel the team guided by the experienced Montenegrin boss right back in the playoffs.

The Greens hanging around

It’s just math but Panathinaikos OPAP has not been officially eliminated despite the home loss to Crvena Zvezda mts. The Serbian club, ALBA Berlin, and Khimki Moscow Region have run out of playoff hopes. The Greens provided an undefeated run in its remaining six fixtures and plenty of help from other teams can actually sneak in.
