Fenerbahce has won their last five EuroLeague games with a new style of basketball.

When Jan Vesely and Nando De Colo got injured, Fenerbahce was in a difficult situation with a 7-10 record, and it seemed that they had very few chances of reaching the playoffs. Two months and five consecutive victories later, the Turkish team has acquired a new identity.

Without their two big stars, they play tougher, with a better defense -ask Olimpia Milano and Real Madrid– and they involve more players, although it is Marko Guduric (38 M) who leads this new Fenerbahce.

During these last five rounds, the Serbian guard has averaged 22 points in Biwenger and seems to have left the irregularity behind. Fener ends the week hosting Bayern, who are also in the fight for the playoffs, so we expect Guduric to continue playing at a high level.

 MIROTIC RETURNS TO OUR TEAM

After a few weeks with Mike James as captain, we chose Nikola Mirotic (71 M) again. Barcelona has dominated Real Madrid in the last two Clasicos of the season and the Montenegrin forward has been superb, also being far superior in his duels with Guerschon Yabusele.

However, we didn’t forget AS Monaco as we have included Donatas Motiejunas (37 M) and Alpha Diallo (20 M) for the first time in our squad. Diallo has been one of the best players in the EuroLeague in recent weeks, averaging 25.4 points in Biwenger during his last five games.
