Besides preparing to face Fenerbahce Beko in the Semifinals of the 2024 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, the players of Panathinaikos Aktor made predictions regarding the winner of the other Semifinal on Eurohoops TV.
Following the first Semifinal, defending champion Real Madrid and last season’s runner-up Olympiacos will face off with Berlin’s Uber Arena hosting the rematch of the championship game of the 2023 Final Four.
Nine Greens players forecast a win for the team based in the capital of Spain. “I believe Madrid should win it,” Mathias Lessort summarized, more or less, answers in favor of Madrid, “It is a Semifinal. Anything can happen.”
Marius Grigonis, Juancho Hernangomez, Aleksander Balcerowski, Alexandros Samodurov, Konstantinos Mitoglou, Luca Vildoza, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Lefteris Mantzoukas were the remaining players siding with the team coached by Chus Mateo.
Players expecting archrival Olympiacos to advance to the championship game were limited to Kendrick Nunn and Dimitris Moraitis.
Failing to reach a verdict, Kostas Sloukas, Jerian Grant, Ioannis Papapetrou, and Panagiotis Kalaitzakis were neutral.
