Welcome to the Top 50 EuroLeague Players, presented by Eurohoops. This is our countdown of the absolute best talent ahead of the 2026–27 season.
After plenty of debate, we evaluated the continent’s stars based on their raw skill, how they elevate their teams, and their projected success for the coming year.
It wasn’t easy, and the process was more than inclusive. Each Eurohoops edition presented its own Top50; we merged those lists, and after some fine-tuning by our senior editors-in-chief, we arrived at this final ranking.
The challenge was obvious; narrowing this down wasn’t easy, and some notable names just missed the cut.
Those who got votes and were part of one of the initial three lists presented but ultimately are not included in the Top50 are the following players: Nicolo Melli, Kostas Sloukas, Matthew Strazel, Andreas Obst, Daniel Theis, Ethan Thompson, Andrés Feliz, Nick Weiler-Babb, Jaron Blossomgame, Will Clyburn, Chris Duarte, Filip Petrusev, Sterling Brown, Juancho Hernangómez, Bonzie Colson, Mamadi Diakite, Duane Washington, Jaylen Nowell, Olivier Sarr, Thomas Walkup and Patty Mills.
We tip off our countdown with Part 1. This opening wave features the tone-setters, reliable glue guys, and bucket-getters who keep offenses moving.
Here are the players ranked from 50 to 21.

The ultimate high-level glue guy. He hits timely outside shots and takes pride in defending the opponent’s best guard.

An intriguing piece on the wing. He spreads the floor and brings clear scoring versatility.

A knockdown shooter with a quick trigger. Opposing defenses can’t leave him alone, which opens up the floor for everyone else.

A crafty guard with tight handles and a smart approach to the pick-and-roll. He is an intelligent playmaker who hits outside shots.
38. McKinley Wright IV (Dubai)

A pure point guard and tenacious defender who controls the tempo. He tests ball-handlers and plays with a high basketball IQ.

One of the tougher power forwards in the EuroLeague. He brings muscle to the paint but can also step out and hit a jump shot.
36. Alec Peters (Armani Olimpia Milan)

A classic stretch-four. His three-point shooting opens up the floor, giving his teammates room to work inside.
35. Mathias Lessort (Panathinaikos Aktor)

When healthy, he is a handful inside. His vertical gravity on standard rim-runs forces defenses to completely shift their game plans.
34. Brancou Badio (Panathinaikos Aktor)

One of the new faces playing for head coach Zeljko Obradovic. He brings his playmaking talent to Athens this season.
33. Kameron Taylor (Valencia)

A physical perimeter defender. His rugged approach balances out his team’s free-flowing offense perfectly.
32. Tyrese Martin (FC Barcelona)

A tough swingman who provides depth on the wing. He brings defensive grit and runs the floor hard in transition.
31. Tornike Shengelia (Dubai)
