Who are the top scorers of the best championships in Europe? Who dumped the most points on the opposing baskets? Eurohoops found the best “bombers” and presents them to you.

Eurohoops collected the leading scorers on average in the top 7 European leagues (Spain, Turkey, VTB, Greece, Germany, France, Italy), their best game in terms of execution, as well as their course throughout the season.

What was included in the count is the performances of players only during the regular period of each championship and the best one emerged based on averages and not total points. Furthermore, an essential prerequisite for each player was that they had to have played in at least half of the games of the championship’s regular period.

dwayne davis

Basket League (Greece)
Dwayne Davis
Team: Koroivos Amaliadas
Games: 20
Points (on average): 18,3 Total: 366
Best scoring performance: 36 points (Koroivos – Arkadikos 60-61)

Koroivos’s American bomber was the main reason that the team from Amaliada stayed in the Basket League for the third season in a row. A real executioner for rival defenses, he spearheaded Koroivos’s offensive operation, managing to emerge as the top scorer (on average) of the Greek championship.

He had a double-digit number of points in 19 of the 20 games in which he played, while he executed with a rate of 46,3% in field goals even though he undertook almost 1/5 of his teams attempts.

daye austin

Lega Basket (Italy)
Austin Daye
Team: Pesaro
Games: 21
Points (on average): 21,3 Total: 447
Best scoring performance: 32 points (Pesaro – Varese 76-71), (Armani – Pesaro 82-78)

He was the undeniable leader of Pesaro, who finished in 12th place of the Italian championship (best ranking in the last four years). Daye is a formidable scorer and a… specialist in one-on-one game.

He scored 20+ points in 13 of Pesaro’s games, while he also helped out in the field of rebounds (9,1 per game). The charismatic forward has in his possession an NBA championship ring (2014 with the San Antonio Spurs), while he has played in five teams of the “magical world”.

Austin’s crescendo against Varese:

keith langford

VTB League
Keith Langford
Team: UNICS Kazan
Games: 28
Points (on average): 21 Total: 588
Best scoring performance: 38 points (Khimki – UNICS 85-90)

Keith Langford and scoring are one and the same. He’s among the best scorers in Europe in the last decade. In his second season as a resident of Kazan, he safely led UNICS to the final series of the VTB League (against CSKA Moscow) and secured their participation in next season’s Euroleague.

The top scorer in the Euroleague in the period 2013-14 with Armani Milano confirmed his “killer instinct” once again this season by scoring a double-digit number of points in every single game!

Keith Langford’s show against Khimki:

michael thompson

(LNB Pro-A) France
Michael Thompson
Team: Pau-Orthez
Games: 34
Points (on average): 17,8 Total: 604
Best scoring performance: 41 (Orthez – Nancy 108-104 in overtime from 88-88 in regular time)

The fourth year of the small American (1,77 m.) in Pro-A was also his most… fullest offensively, which resulted in him getting Orthez back into the playoffs for the first time after the 2005-06 season when the team from the Pyrenees had reached the semifinals.

Aside from scoring, Thompson also made his teammates “happy” by dishing 5,2 assists per game, while he became a member of the best group of five in the championship.

kyle fogg

(BBL) Germany
Kyle Fogg
Team: Bremerhaven
Games: 34
Points (on average): 18,2 Total: 619
Best scoring performance: 35 (Bayreuth – Bremerhaven 99-89)

The 26-year-old American managed to stand out in the German league from his very first season there. He was the mastermind of his team, helping them avoid relegation. He finished the season with the pretty good 35,7% from outside the 6,75 m. line, while he was the only player of Bremerhaven who took part in the German All-star game.

He became the top scorer of the regular period for the first time, completing it with an average of 15,7 in the evaluation.
