Τhe first ever LG AegeanBall Festival was presented today in Syros, Greece.

The biggest 3X3 tournament of Greece with a record number of Super Star Status participants and 10 open categories for every one who wants to compete will be held from the 13th to the 17th of July in the island of Syros.

Euroleague star Giorgos Printezis, the Mayor of Syros-Ermoupolis George Maragos, the marketing manager of LG Hellas Georgia Stravropoyloy and the head of the tournament, Mike Fountedakis, welcomed the big event and spoke to the media.

Printezis explained his vision, an idea he had for many years: “We are in the final stretch of a very large 3×3 tournament which already has become a tradition and a standard for many reasons.

It offers the opportunity for many people to play, enjoy basketball and good company in the island of Syros. It’s also a charity event and the best possible way to make Syron known everywhere.

This is not just a 3X3 tournament. I have read many humorous comments during recent days for the players who will come. I never expected such a turn out. Spanoulis, Zisis, Papaloukas, Jankovic, Pappas, Papanikolaou, Bourousis, Schortsanitis, Kakiouzis and Kalambokis are already announced and many other announcement will follow. We expect also two star players from Turkey. It also depends on the pre-Olympic tournaments. Of course, we we wish to see Greece playing in Rio, even if this means that some players will not be able to attend the event”.

Eurohoops is the official cyber media partner of the event and if you want to be part of it, you just have to register here. See you in Syros!
