In one more outrageous turn of events, five alleged criminals were released by the authorities despite the fact that not only the stolen EuroLeague trophy is still missing, but also for three of them this was their second arrests in just a few weeks.

Only one new name was present on the most wanted list and a new pattern emerged with illegal acts perpetrated in all Turkish Airlines EuroLeague arenas on almost every day of the week. This is hardly a surprise anymore and here are the names of those who were captured on Friday night, but didn’t even spend the weekend in jail.

Sergio Llull: It’s not often that two thugs from the same gang get themselves arrested together, but with Randolph as his tag-team partner, Llull was ruthless in taking down two foes in a row this week. His 30 points against Panathinaikos were his biggest score to date, and Real Madrid needed all of them. But he needed only 22 minutes to score 20 more and dish 7 assists to erase archrival Barcelona from its own floor on Friday. Catch him if you can, but nobody seems to know how.

Vasilis Spanoulis: Yes it’s him again. The ruthless leader of the Greek mob from Pireaus prevailed over Barcelona and Panathinaikos. First he had a modest showing with 15 points and 6 assists against his former associates, con-artist Giorgos Bartzokas, sleek Stratos Perperoglou and bouncer Joey Dorsey who are currently part of the FC Barcelona Lassa crew. That was just the start. “Kill Bill” was out for blood at OAKA. When it was all said and done, the Reds got one more win with him having 22 points and 8 assists, while delivering the killing blow for Olympiacos with the help of Giorgos “The Voice” Printezis.

Anthony Randolph: After four arrests last year in Krasnodar, he was seen doing damage in Spain. First in Madrid, he had 12 points and 4 assists against Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens. It was a petty crime for the American gangster compared to what followed in Barcelona. Like Spanoulis, who beat both PAO and Barca, Randolph didn’t have any kind of pity on the road with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks, one of them as vicious as it could be against Dorsey.

Johannes Voigtmann: This is not a coincidence any more. The German enforcer of Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz is making everyone pay. He did it against his compatriots of Brose Bamberg with 20 points and 9 rebounds, taking his revenge after losing to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan despite his 16 points and 8 rebounds. Every week he gains more and more respect in the underworld, still there was not enough evidence to keep him behind bars.

Marko Simonovic: The terror from Belgrade hit again. Wearing the mark of Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade on his chest, he had 23 points and 6 rebounds against the EA7 Emporio Armani Milan organization which tried unsuccessfully to expand in Serbia. A few days before that, he was seen in Bavaria, scoring 17 points against Brose Bamberg. He had a reputation as a hitman only, with special bullets at precise moments, but now he’s running amok as if he owns any court he plays on. There’s just no end to his foul deeds…
