If you believe European players have been taking over the NBA in the recent years, there isn’t a reason to look beyond the league’s scorer’s table.

The NBA 2018-19 Regular Season is approaching its All-Star break. Time could be appropriate to take a look at the list with the players with the most points. James Harden might be massively leading with 1.498 points scored this year, but the second fact to lean on is the European presence in the table.

Out of the sixty top 2018-19 scorers, ten of them are from Europe. MVP candidate Giannis Antekounmpo is tenth totally and the top European scorer. Nikola Vucevic is the second European, while Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Danilo Gallinari round up the Top 5.

Clint Capela, Bojan Bogdanovic, Serge Ibaka, Rudy Gobert and Jusuf Nurkic are also in the Top 10, while Marc Gasol is currently only 16 points away from the pack. The Spaniard center didn’t fit in the European Top 10 despite being 62nd overall in the NBA.
