What a week in VTB League! Team World was victorious over Team Russia in the stunning All-Star Game, while there was also some intense game action in the league prior to the weekend’s ASG activities.

Sergio Rodriguez
This week we’re going to focus on the All-Star Game activities, hence Sergio Rodriguez rightfully earns his place in the MVP section. With 20 points, five assists, and two rebounds, he paced Team World over Russian Stars this Sunday, outshining Andrey Vorontsevich who scored a game-high of 30 points.
An ASG to be remembered
As we’ve mentioned above, World Stars beat the Russian Stars in a nail-biter 118-115, as Kendrick Perry hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left.
In the meantime, a lot of fun activities happened around the court, including the Slam Dunk and Three-Pointer Contests! Viacheslav Zaitcev was named the 2019 All-Star Game champion, while Vitaly Fridzon won the Three-Point Contest.
