This is going to be a special Final Four for Sergio Llull no matter what. The leader of Real Madrid needs just six points in order to enter the Top5 of the All-Time Final Four scorers of modern EuroLeague and if he makes it to the final, then he needs a total of 19 points in two games in order to pass Juan Carlos Navarro for the third spot on the All-Time list.
It has to be noted that even with the addition of the Finals Fours of the FIBA era which boost the total of Dejan Bodiroga’s points to 164, the Top10 list doesn’t change much. That means that Llull has a chance to be even on the second spot of the list over Trajan Langdon if he scores a total of 23 points. He can even aim at the top spot, for which he needs 45 points. Of course, if you factor in the FIBA era Final Fours, the real top is still far away since Hall of Famer Nick Galis has scored a total of 231 in just eight games (28.9 ppg).
Llull needs also nine assists in order to make to the All-Time top, having so far 50 dishes in his 12 Final Four appearances and Theodoros Papaloukas – who is also currently the fourth all-time scorer – holding the first place with 59.
Nando De Colo of CSKA Moscow will also enter the Top 10 of the Final Four scorers. He is currently 11th in the list and needs just three points in order to pass Sarunas Jasikevicius.
