FOX Maccabi Tel Aviv anounced the signing of Elijah Millsap (28, 1.98 m) until the end of the season. After being cut on January 5th by the Utah Jazz, Millsap returns to Israel when he played for Maccabi Ashdod back in the 2010-11 season.
Brother of NBA All Star Paul Millsap, Elijah has also played in the Tulsa 66ers (D-League), the Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League), the Petron Blaze Boosters (Philippines) and the Bakersfield Jam (D-League). Maccabi needed a boost in order to save its season both in Eurocup and the Israeli league and it remains to be seen if Millsap is the answer.
