Telekom Baskets Bonn has agreed to terms with Ryan Thompson on a one–year contract. The 28–year–old American shooting guard will make his return to the German league after winning the championship in 2015 with Bamberg.
Last season, he was signed by Crvena Zvezda, but he departed after appearing in 17 ABA league and 10 Euroleague games. He signed with Trabzonspor the same day of his departure.
Born in Mount Laurel, NJ, he begun his professional carreer in 2010 with Utah Flash, then went overseas to Italy for Brescia Leonessa, Belgium for Okapi Aalstar and Oostende. In 2014, he was signed by Bamberg.
