Fuenlabrada used the “tanteo” option for Jonathan Tabu (meaning that the player would either stay in the team or play for a non Spanish one) as Eurohoops reported a few days back, but Bilbao insisted and the deal is now done. Fuenlabrada used the player’s buyout option and the 30 years old Belgian is now a member of Bilbao.
Tabu is no stranger to the ACB league, as he has played for CAI Zaragoza too in the past apart from Fuenlabrada and Bilbao. He’s also been in Spirou Charleroi, Cantu, Cremona, Alba Berlin and Milano.
He is also member of the Belgian national team, with a participation in Eurobasket 2015.
