Avellino announced the signing of Levi Randolph with an annual contract. The 1992 born guard was trained at the prestigious Alabama University. He finished his college career with 15 points and 5 rebounds per game and 35% from the 3point line.
The following year of his graduation he had an invitation to the training camp of the Boston Celtics and then signed with NBA franchise Maine Red Claws where he averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Nicola Alberani, Avellino’s manager commented: “The Randolph signing was an important step in building the roster. He is an energetic player and can play multiple roles in the court. He has had many offers but our project and working with coach Sacripanti convinced him to accept our offer. Surely we must have a little ‘patience at the beginning because he is still a rookie, but we believe he has the talent to stand out in a tough league like ours.”
