Brent Petway signed with Pinar Karsiyaka, after a mediocre season in Sassari he will play in the strong BSL and in FIBA’s champions league and as he said to Eurohoops, he wants to make a comeback.
“I have always loved to play in front of very intense fans, because I like to be high on emotion for more energy during the games so I love passionate fans”, explained Petway, a Greek league champion with Olympiacos, who wants more: “I will comeback to my form that I’m used to playing at. Team wise I want to help us reach for the highest level, and we have the roster and coaching staff to reach for the sky”.
While many players are not comfortable with the idea of signing in Turkey due to the political situation, the 31 years old forward doesn’t have any doubts about his choice: “First of all I pray for all families who have lost loved ones in any type of attack or senseless violence. All around the world there needs to be more conversation about how to put an end to these attacks, regardless of race, or religion, no one should lose life because of hatred for beliefs”.
