After Brandon Jefferson, Union Olimpija Lubljana closed its roster with the addition of Semen Shashkov.
The Russian player (2.05 meters, 27 years old) played for Lastovka Domzale of Slovenia last season, where he averaged 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in the Slovenian League. Shashkov started his basketball career with CSKA Moscow and then continued in Ural Great, Nizhny Novgorod and Avtodor Saratov. He was also a member of U20 and U18 Russian National Teams in the past.
