The newly crowned Euroleague champions, CSKA Moscow, made an appearance in the highly popular Russian TV Show “Nighttime with Urgant”. Something like the… “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” of Russia.
Coach Dimitris Itoudis, accompanied by Aaron Jackson, Nikita Kurbanov and Vitaly Fridzon represented CSKA, while club president Andrey Vatutin was also present in the studio as a spectator.
The host of the show, Ivan Urgant, joked with the players and their coach whether they made the finale of the game dramatic.. on purpose. Also when coach Itoudis pointed to his players saying that “they built the 21-point difference on the first half”, Urgant replied “So you lost that lead because of the ones that didn’t come here”.
