VTB United League announced Evgeny Pashutin and Rimas Kurtinaitis as head coaches for the 2020 VTB All Star Game. Khimki’s boss will guide the World Stars and his Lokomotiv Kuban colleague the Russian Stars. They will also declare their starting lineups on February 12.
“The League chooses All Star coaches depending on actual regular season,” noted League’s CEO Ilona Korstin. “Rimas Kurtinaitis and his Khimki lead the league with 15 wins and 1 loss. This is extraordinary result, especially considering this year’s competition. Evgeny Pashutin, the only Russian coach in VTB League, came back to Lokomotiv-Kuban and since then the team hasn’t lost, taking 7th straight win. I’m sure that both coaches can find an approach to All Stars, can divide minutes among players properly and become part of the show.”
The All Star Game will be held on February 16 at the VTB Arena in Moscow.
