Aleksandr Petenev became the youngest All-Star in VTB League history and soared high to win the Slam Dunk contest while Vitaly Fridzon outgunned the rivals in the Three-Point Contest

Avtodor Saratov forward in Aleksandr Petenev, the youngest All-Star in VTB United League history at 19 years old, put on a show for the crowd and won the Slam Dunk Contest.

He had to outshine Anton Astapkovich, Austin Hollins and Maxim Marchuk who didn’t make it easy for the young gun at all. Take a look at all the action:

On the other hand, a 34-year-old veteran in Lokomotiv Kuban’s Vitaly Fridzon came out on top in an exciting Three-Point Contest.

Fridzon and Branko Mirkovic went ‘toe-to-toe’ as the former tied the score at 19 with the last ‘money ball’ to force another (24-second) round in which he eventually got the win.
