CSKA Moscow began the latest round of games in the VTB United League by crushing Avtodor Saratov with a fine game by a not not-so-usual protagonist.

Andrey Lopatin scored a game-high 20 points as CSKA dispatched Avtodor with ease. Will Clyburn added 18 points while Johannes Voigtmann had 10 points, six rebounds and five assists.
For Avtodor, Nate Mason dropped 15 points, got six rebounds and dished out six assists. Zeljko Sakic had 13 points plus eight rebounds and Nikita Mikhailovskii scored 10.
Nizhny Novgorod – Zielona Gora 100-93
Anton Astapkovich shot 9-13 from the field on his way to 25 points for the winning side while Kasey Shepherd added 19 and Artem Komolov 18 points.
Iffe Lundberg scored 24 (10-15 FG) for Zielona Gora in addition to Geoffrey Grosselle’s 22 points (10-11 FG).
