The VTB United League contest pitting CSKA Moscow against Zenit Saint-Petersburg scheduled to take place on October 19 was postponed indefinitely due to both teams facing positive coronavirus tests.

The development closely follows the Euroleague Basketball decision regarding the Zenit games through the first double-game week of the 2020-21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season. Games in Spain versus TD Systems Baskonia and Valencia will not be played as scheduled.

The coronavirus crisis in Zenit includes 13 cases. Also, CSKA’s Nikola Milutinov, Janis Strelnieks, and Semen Antonov were found positive ten days ago.
