CSKA made short work of Tsmoki and Zielona Gora, while Zenit kept its undefeated streak

CSKA returned to its VTB League duties to get a three-game winning streak with a victory over Tsmoki during the weekend and one more on Tuesday against Zielona Gora for a 7-2 record, while Zenit St. Petersburg extended its undefeated streak against UNICS, moving up to 7-0.

CSKA Moscow -Zielona Gora 105-73

Toko Shengelia with 19 points and Will Clyburn with 15 led the charge on the road as CSKA got an easy win. Mike James added 12 points for the “Army Team” and Semen Antonov stole the show with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Iffe Lundberg continued his hot streak, scoring 22 points for the hosts.

BC Kalev/Cramo – Tsmoki-Minsk 88-82

Marcus Keene led the way for Kalev with game-high 27 points while Janari Joesaar added 19 and Devin Thomas ten points.

On the other side, Maksim Salash and Toms Leimanis had 19 points each.

Astana – Nizhny Novgorod 69-79

Evgenii Baburin shot 4-8 from deep on his way to 15 points for Nizhny while Anton Astapkovich and Artem Komolov followed with 13 each.

On the other side, Devyn Marble scored 16 and Martins Meiers 14 points.

PARMA – Lokomotiv Kuban 84-81 

Thanks to a phenomenal performance by Adas Juskevicius (33 points, five assists), Parma downed Lokomotiv Kuban at home. Mareks Mejeris added 14 points plus seven rebounds.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas delivered 24 points while Jordan Crawford had 17 points and six rebounds for Loko.

Enisey Krasnoyarsk – Zastal Enea BC Zielona Gora 73-94

Rolands Freimanis posting a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double guided his team to the emphatic win. Kerron Johnson registered a team-high 16 points for the home side.

Tsmoki-Minsk – CSKA Moscow 60-87

CSKA Moscow extended its streak paced behind a 19-point performance by Mike James. Darrun Hilliard added 17 points for the Army Team and Daniel Hackett posted 12 points.  Maksim Salash led the hosts with 22 points, 7 rebounds and Kris Clyburn posted 15 points.

Zenit St. Petersburg – UNICS 81-64

Mateusz Ponitka paced Zenit to victory with 23 points, while Kevin Pangos added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Austin Hollins had 10 points.

Jordan Theodore led the visiting side with 11 points, as Nate Wolters and Jordan Morgan tapped 10 points apiece.
