Ahead of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16, UNICS Kazan completes a two-win week in the VTB United League

A solid second half made out an away win, 76-69, for UNICS Kazan against Parma Perm Saturday. John Holland starred with 22 points to his name and Okaro White added 18, including 12/12 free throws.

Another win, 65-64, at home versus Zielona Gora Wednesday was largely credited to late heroics by Jamar Smith putting the finishing touches on his game-high 22 points.

A clutch three made by Adonis Thomas sealed the win, 86-82, for Astana over shorthanded Lokomotiv Kuban. Martins Meiers poured a game-high 18 points and also collected eight rebounds.

Tsmoki-Minsk snapped a seven-game losing streak as Robert Lowery fired in 18 out of his 27 points in the second half of the win, 77-76, over Nizhny Novgorod, including a three for a late seven-point lead. Artem Kolomov notched 22 points for the losing side.

Zenit Saint-Petersburg on top of the table with a 9-1 record will host Avtodor Saratov Sunday. CSKA Moscow sits second at 9-2, while UNICS off its third win in a row improved to 8-4.
