Zielona Gora defeated CSKA Moscow for the first time in the history of the club.

Kris Richard hit a 3-pointer under pressure with two seconds left in the game clock as Zielona Gora beat CSKA Moscow 93 – 90 to register its first-ever win over the Russian powerhouse.

Richard finished with 25 points. Gabriel Iffe Lundberg (a player who had been linked to CSKA before his agent shut down the rumors) led Zielona Gora overall, posting 26 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Tornike Shengelia dropped 19 points while Daniel Hackett and Semen Antonov scored 12 points apiece for CSKA that saw Mike James (six points in 16:33) returning to action following his suspension. The visiting squad was without Nikola Milutinov (done for the season) and Will Clyburn (injury).

Earlier, Errick McCollum scored 20 points to lead a shorthanded (Alexey Shved, Stefan Jovic out) Khimki Moscow to a 72 – 69 away win over Parma. Boris Savovic had 16 points for Parma.
